The Story Behind the Slogan “Soar on Wings like Eagles”

The director, David Rodgers has always been an avid bird watcher and particularly loves eagles.  The character and beauty of an eagle is a great inspiration to him and a significant reason behind changing the name of the company to Eagle Outdoors.

Eagles are strong, powerful birds that can rise above the storms and see well into the distance thus having very good vision.

As a company we want to aspire to have qualities like that of an eagle – vision, fearlessness, tenacity, an ability to fly high above the storm and see beyond present circumstances and to look after their young.

The Eagle is also symbolic of the importance of honesty and truthful principles; something we hold strong to in our business.

Eagles are the only birds that love the storm and will use the wind of the storm to rise higher in a matter of seconds without having to use their own energy.

Finally, as faith is an integral part of our personal lives, we have learned to trust in God through all our endeavours in business. Therefore, the slogan we have chosen is a quote from the Bible and gives us hope beyond our own strength. The full verse for this inspiration is below:
